 2 cups Cabbage, Shredded
 2 Medium Sized Carrot, Grated
 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
 1 tsp Urid Dal
 3 tsp Cooking Oil
 ½ tsp Cooking Salt
 6 Curry Leaves (Optional)
 2 tsp Desiccated Coconuts
 2 Dried Red Chilli Can also be 1 Fresh Green Chilli

Heat Oil in Stir Fry Pan

Once Oil is heated, Add Mustard Seeds.

Be Careful, Mustard seeds will splutter. Cover the pan so it does not splutter on you

Once Spluttering has stopped, Add Red Chilli and Urid Dal together.

If you are using Green Chilli, first add Urid Dal. Let it go brown a little and then add the green chilli

Add Cabbage and close with lid so it cooks. After the 5 min and 10 min mark, Stir

Once the Cabbage has been cooking for 15 min, It should be half cooked. Add carrot and salt. Keep Stirring every 5 min

Do Not Cover

It should be cooked in 15 min. However keep an eye on it so it is not too soft. Once cooked, there should not be any moisture left

Garnish with Dessicated coconut and curry leaves

Enjoy. This can be served with anything such as Rice or bread
