1Big size bitter gourdLook for light green one. Cut in to half and remove all the seeds inside. Then cut in to small pieces.
1OnionMedium size, cut it in to small pieces.
2TomatoesCut in to small pieces
8Garlic cloves Peel off the skin & chop it finely
1tspSalt Add salt according to your taste
1.50tspChilli powder
½tspTurmeric powder
2tbspSesame oil You can use any oil of your choice. Make it less or more accordingly
½tspMustard seeds
½tspCumin seeds

Heat the oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it.

After hearing the cracking sound of mustard seeds in oil, then add the onions and garlic to it. After it turns to light brown color, add the tomatoes. Mix it well until it becomes a gravy. Then add the bitter gourd pieces to it.

Sauté all of them together for few minutes and add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.

Mix all for few more minutes until the masala blends with bitter gourd pieces. Add 100 ml of water and allow the bitter gourd to cook well. Then remove the pan from the stove and it’s ready to serve.
