Chicken poriyal goes well with rice and Chappathi. It has good source of protein. It can be used to make wraps and sandwiches as well. Quick and easy to make.

Heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to it. After you hear the cracking sound of mustard seeds, then add finely chopped ginger, garlic and onions to it. Sauté them well until they turn in to light brown color.
Add tomatoes and mix well until it becomes a gravy. Now add turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, chicken masala powder and salt. Let all the spices blend together.
Add the chicken pieces to the gravy now. Mix for few more minutes until the chicken is cooked well. Once the masala blends in with chicken, then switch off the stove.
Garnish with the finely chopped coriander leaves. Now it’s ready to serve.
